VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers are the “Heart” of our organization.  Here are some ways that your expertise may benefit the community members we serve.

·         Peer Counseling - please note that all of the following Peer Counseling positions require completion  of  the 60 hour certification training mandated by the State of California.

o   Crisis Line Advocate

o   Client Advocate

o   Emergency Shelter Advocate

o   Legal Advocate

o   Court accompaniment

o   Emergency Response Advocate

·         Office Worker at our Reception Desk;  be the first to greet our guests, answer and direct incoming calls, light secretarial/computer  work

·         Fundraising committee member, assist with our periodic fundraisers
